E everything started thus.
[color=cyan]IT KNOWS São Luís [/color]
 and ITS ENCHANTMENTS the city of São Luís, also known as Upaon - Açu (Great Island),
already it was born multicultural. Established in 1612 for Frenchmen, it was disputed by the dutches, until, the Portuguese had retaken it.
As French inheritance São Luís it keeps few evidences of the
presence of its founders, to the exception of some names of streets and monuments, e a certain delicacy in the culinária. But the main traces of the city exactly are inherited of the
Portuguese: the incredible azulejado casario and the mirantes of the Historical
Center, that they inspire seen afternoons of a net, guessing the meaning of white clouds in the blue sky. The natural landscapes of the city are another attractive one for that
they look a healthful stroll.
 Bathed for waters mornas of the bays of They are Marcos and of the
Atlantic Ocean, São Luís is permanently warm for the sun. This means that in the summer, the breeze of the sea brightens up the heat and, in the days of rain, the sun always gives the air of its favour, or either, in São Luís, the entire year is day of beach. E for speaking in beaches, they are to all the 15, with prominence for the ones of Tip d ' sand, They are Marcos, Pebble, Eye d'água and Araçagi.
In 1997, São Luís received from UNESCO (Organization of the Nations Joined
for the Education, Science and Culture) the heading of Cultural Patrimony of the
Humanity, a recognition to a quantity architectural that more than congregates
3,000 constructions of inigualável historical and artistic value and
that they portray the way of life of the old supplied families of the
city.

CONHEÇA SÃO LUÍS E SEUS ENCANTOS
A cidade de São Luís, também conhecida como Upaon - Açu ( Ilha Grande), já nasceu multicultural. Fundada em 1612 por franceses, foi disputada pelos holandeses, até que, os portugueses a retomaram.
Como herança francesa São Luís guarda poucas evidências da presença de seus fundadores, à exceção de alguns nomes de ruas e monumentos, e uma certa delicadeza na culinária. Mas os principais traços da cidade são mesmo herdados dos portugueses: o incrível casario azulejado e os mirantes do Centro Histórico, que inspiram tardes vistas de uma rede, adivinhando o significado das nuvens brancas no céu azul.
